Sunday, May 16 2010: The Gator Motorsports team spent May 12- May 15th competing in Formula SAE Michigan. The competition was comprised of over 120 international teams. Car 84 and the team made it to design semi-finals, and tied for 4th with an overall competition placement of 43rd. See pictures of the team at competition here. |

Saturday May 1, 2010: Gator Motorsports hosted the annual unveiling of its car and presented to an excited crowd of family, friends, and faculty. Thank you all who came. It was great to showcase our hard work before leaving for Michigan.

Friday April 16, 2010: Students from Bolles Middle School in Jacksonville came to tour the Gator Motorsports shop and take part in an engineering competition of their own. The students worked with World in Motion Vehicle kits to build electric toy cars to race across the shop. Check out these pictures and the news post on the Bolles website. |
Thursday April 15, 2010: Gator Motorsports won runner up for IDEAL's Student Organization of the year award out of over 800 student organizations at UF. Gator Motorsports also received BEC's best technical society and best website for the third year in a row.

Monday, April 11 2010: Join the Gator Motorsports team at our annual Unveiling. This annual event is a chance for Gator Motorsports, the University of Florida Chapter of SAE, to showcase the 2010 Formula car. The event will take place on May 1st, 2010 at 7:30pm in New Engineering Building. |
